The client had wanted to repurpose their home in Reading as they had moved into a different property.

The existing property was a 3 bedroom house with offices above.

Our scope was to create a space more suited to modern day living; we achieved this by extending to the rear and
removing specific internal walls. The result is a modern open plan kitchen for all of the 8 Apartments along with dining and living space with a vaulted ceiling to the rear extension, rooflights and floor to ceiling glazing. The utility is larger with a dedicated boot space and a shower rooms opposite.

The external aesthetics are simple using brickwork to match the existing with alternating brick detailing around the
rear sliding doors and kitchen window.

This sensitive design will dramatically improve the quality of life for the clients and enable them to enjoy their property for the foreseeable future.
